I want to add to my post, that after more reading up on the recent LI market and markers, that it's quite obvious now why Toyota took up their $300m placement @$7.5 premium at such a hurry. ( excuse this @niu if u may hv already posted similar but I suspect ppl just don't read, so they are asking you that same stuff like the poster here about Toyota)
That figure is no small msg of confidence that car makers NEED to lock in to Li supply and fast for future supply. That $7.5p premium paid, Toyota knows will be nothing and in fact cheap in a timeframe sooner than many here ( except the L Termers) may expect. China state run industries have amassed a war chest for acquisition and M & A activity can happen posthaste to a desirable producer like ORE. Toyota had to lock in the blocking stake before a rival takeover occurs. Quantity of Li projects is certainly increasing but costs of Hard rock Li is still much higher than brine, & quality is what is being bought out now and continuing.
