We certainly do not all agree that the SP is where it is "due to the best efforts of the Chinese to push down prices..."
SP is greatly influenced by NdPr prices which are falling due to weaker demand in the world's largest market-China because of widespread Covid lockdowns across China which reduce both production of magnets and their products and reduced consumer spending on these products. They have stated they won't sell rare earths at 'cabbage prices' anymore.
