Hi All,
Have been perusing the Orocobre recent presentation and found the costs to produce are USD$3,579 and also the ownership value at 66.5%

Am trying to understand if the claims by management for Orocobre to reach 15,000 tonnes this year are feasible and also what dollar value per tonne is expected as last financial year the company states it was achieving 6,906 tonnes which is a far cry from the claimed 15,000 per annum. 43% if I recall from my calculations today, and further reduced by the ownership of 66.5% which takes it to 4,592 tonnes per annum.
I guess I am just confused by the interest in the company and also the current market cap.
Can anyone help me to understand why Orocobre is a confident investment when they continue to underachieve?
By the above figures alone it would indicate that it is unlikely that Orocobre will reach the 15,000 tonnes per annum planned.
Orocobre’s share of costs based on previous would be $16,434,768 however I can't put my finger on it what pricing they will definitely achieve?
Appreciate the feedback.
