The african founder you spoke of could only be one of two possible people, looking at the 2007 annual report. (would have to be a substantial from back then)
Remove the one that knows about exploration and geology as he would know better (easy to find his credentials on linkdin ) and your left with x ........... I won't mention his name , let others work it out for themselves....
I then looked at the 2011 annual report which shows this fella could've had almost 7.5million shares to dispose of.
So, looking at the daily volumes etc etc , i'd say he started liquidating his holding from around about the 50c-60c mark possibly higher. But hard to work out exactly as many would've followed this poor chap out the door, so may have been even higher. Selling alway begets more selling.
Add to that , we may have also had blackrock grinding away at their position if they are still selling (another forced seller) . Any one know how many shares Blackrock have left?
JWA - Your comments re: Pattersons - Interesting. Profits at any costs for those boys . Expect NO loyalty in the world of brokers, they've long since distributed thier lot of AMX , so time to pump up something else (GMR). Commission at any price is still a commission , and xmas bonuses must be sought !
Been a lean year for most brokerage houses. They are more predatory than ever.
