I too was suprised two Victorian projects both got granted. Especially after Greenearth already only just received a 25mil grant from the state is seems unfair to also get a federal grants when other projects will miss out.
If you don't mind me asking which Victoria project were you referring too?? I think it helped that VIC basins have had extensive drilling from oil companies in the past and although they may not have put in as much work as KEN the data is already there.
Lastly I dont think the company would have known weeks ago. I sent an email asking for grant release dates and it was still unknow two weeks back. Most of these companies will need to capital raise given 7mil is not enough anyway
