Thanks for you contribution in this discussion. The highlighted figure 6.67Mt are dirt moved and ores extracted. No issue with that. The $4.38/t is the overall cost in moving both the dirt and the ores. Again no issue.
However this figures are not really used in the calculation of the AISC. The specific table that I relied on to figure out the AISC are the below:
In short the $4.38/t is just an overall figure on the cost in the removal of dirt and ore and it is just a comparative figure against past qtrs only.
Yes if the volume of dirt and ore (6.67Mt) increases and if the bulk of it is due to dirt then the overall cost to DCN will increase. This dirt component is picked up in the development cost (i.e. the stripping cost) of $14.1M as recorded in the above.
