    wow a lot of doom here - makes me look good for once :)

    But if things are allowed to run their course, then the biggest losers will be the wealthiest, such as our bankers, CEOs, etc.

    But as we know, for every force in life there is an opposing force. And when the wealth is extracted from the elite, there will be opportunities for the disadvantaged to fill the voids. Until now, all those so called 'stimulus' measures where packaged as 'good' for the country. No they weren't; they were created to suspend the heightened wealth levels of the powerful at a massive cost to the most vulnerable. Hence the wealth gaps have grown rampantly in the last decade.

    Just think how much better off our kids would have been if, after September 11, the economies were allowed to self correct without interference. They would have had better prospects for the future. They would need to borrow less. None of them would be looking at negative equity in their USA homes like those who bought in prior to 2006.
