In some cases you have to go and see for yourself. I liked history and did Greek and Roman at school. As my career started fading took jobs all over. I have stood on the "Western wall" and understand that it was the west wall of a Jew temple destroyed by the Babylonians 3000 years ago up a flimsy staircase and you are 100m at the Al Aqsa golden dome and lawns Have walked in the Negev desert; there are shards of pottery, broken tish this area ws not always desert. The West Bank is a separate managed region. Drove the hire car in. There were uniformed people but went to the church where Russians were saying Mass. easy entry aand exit West Bank. Was prevented from entering Gaza and Lebanon by khaki lmg toting soldiers (IDF) Lived in R'a'aana north of Tel Aviv for a couple months and became friends with Palestinian neighbours.

You will have founded that a fascinating experience when we visit countries we still take our beliefs with us. yes visiting gives a different perspective but I’m not responding to that but rather to endless posts about Jews who are not actually Jews
