    A problem is that parties have taken sides.
    Fancy Ausie ministers saying they support Palestinians, but ask Israel to stop defending itself.

    Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles said that the situation in the Middle East was “obviously a human tragedy” and the Australian government had “consistently been advocating… to Israel directly, to see this not escalate”.
