Yes I see it as a post Howard, maybe even Rudd, copout Bruce. Even Hawke with all his concensus politiking was a lone wolf. From my vantage point I see Shorten as a primary driver of the malaise.

LNP have had their share of soyboys and boymen too ....Brendon Nelson, John Hewson, Andrew Peacock, Alec Downer, etc., but I think our petticoat PM has gazumped the lot of 'em.... I actually thought he might have absorbed some Hawke/Keating dna in all that time, but noooo.
