Why do they only raise interest rates to slow spending anyway? most of my mates work on the mines fly in/out and earn top dollar. none of them own a house or have a mortgage and dont give a flying fork about interest rates.they've still got there jet ski's and road bikes and fast cars and still spend whatever they want. Raising interest rates only punishes those who have a mortgage! and i've got a big one!(Mortgage that is) Reserve bank can go fork itself.
