Put Capital Gains tax on houses the same as everything else. This alters drastically the tendency to over-invest in a house with too much debt. We would improve the current apalling mis-allocation of resources in the nation, and reduce the cost of houses for the next generation i9n one fell swoop. Who knows it may even do something to help our chronic CAD and international debt situation!!!! We might even be able to stop selling off every damned thing in the nation just to get ourselves from week to week!
