Technically if it is a Lone Star vehicle buying SEH they can't vote using the shares they already own so it actually decreases the likelihood of it going through, however there are many ways around full and honest disclosure. My info is that the Japanese fund buying is buying for Lone Star Asia.
I'm still confused why someone would be selling at 22.5c unless they believe the takeover is going to fail, the share price drops and then they buy back in on the drop, then Lone Star bumps up the takeover price to 30c and we all sell together.
