Note that Metgasco is always referred to as a coal seam gas mining company rather than minnow explorer. Clearly designed to create fear, loathing, panic and a sense of helplessness in the face of some global resources giant. Then you have phrases like "protection from seismic testing" Good lord, anyone would think they're testing nukes ! MEL is clearly losing the PR war. About time they announced they're shelving their CSG plans to concentrate on deep tight gas exploration, it will take a lot of wind out of the sails of the protesters.
