The quarterly states that Range is in the process of finalising the commencement of up to 15,000kms 2d seismic for offshore Puntland.
It will probably take until the end of the year to complete the survey and process the data. IMHO the offshore will then be split into blocks and offered up to potential farmees. It appears that we are years away yet from drilling offshore, as I have always thought,as any farmee may want to undertake a 3D seismic as well.
Does anyone have any idea of the costs for 15,000 kms of offshore 2D seismic?
