I've not said its poison, and I've not said it should not be researched.

I've said that the best Medical evidence should be used and noted that both the TGA and WHO have said specifically that Ivermectin should not be used to treat Covid until there is clear evidence of it efficacy. I objected to posts supporting its use in this way directly against the best current advice.

You will recall the social media campaigns for Hydroxychloroquine which turned out on careful examination NOT to be the silver bullet.

I'm amazed that so many people are keen to follow quack advice instead of science.

Again, I have nothing against Ivermectin being further researched, and will be as happy as larry if it turns out to be an effective treatment - just don't encourage its use right now against the best available advice.
