when dv's champions appeared to me to hold sway.
Why do you start a new thread supposedly to introduce a fresh topic, and refer to past circumstances and to me by name?
What kind of sophistry is this?
In case you haven't worked it out, I simply offer alternate views to prevailing ones.
I think you misunderstand me and fail to understand some basics.
It's one thing to work with what you know (diagnostics) but quite another to make assumptions about commercialisation.
The market was small, because nobody wanted to apply our technology to existing tests. This is commercial reality.
It's where GC failed. He was all optimism and no commercial nous. Hiring Josh Soldo to spruik. It all came to nothing because of this basic error about commercial reality.
Given the costs involved (in having to go through regulatory approval to apply ADO technology) Diasource must have told him they wouldn't apply it to new tests. To do otherwise makes zero commercial sense.
Let's be fair here. None of the much vaunted deals on medical or diagnostic devices occurred. NONE.
ADO couldn't bring any to the table and it couldn't finance their own takeover. These are entirely self-inflicted wounds.
Diasource must have been unimpressed and started to see ADO as a liability. Why should they finance a basketcase?
This is inescapable logic.
If you cannot process that or engage with that then leave me out of any mentions when you're supposedly starting off fresh.
This is the commercial world. And these are commercial realities.
Ignore them all you like. Others have. Just because you have safety in numbers who hold to the same beliefs doesn't make them any more correct.
Thanks
