LOL, Slampoil is back again to downramp.

    Slampoil,

I know that you know very well that the minor background gas was increasing when they are in the salt rocks at a level (2900m) where is very close to Bongabinni formation (You gave this information on one your previous posts). The drill pipe got stuck when they want to pull out the drill bit and BHA for placing the LWD tool and start coring soon. So, it looks very positive that salt is acting as seal to the hydrocarbon bearing formatio just below it, and some little gas particulars are already trapped in the salt.

So I know you know very well that there is a huge possibility that we were entering (will enter soon again anyway) a hydrocarbon formation down there; most probably wet gas formation (oil + gas)

So you guys are still here and trying to downramp and buy NSE cheaper. That's fair. But we will do our best to enlighten people here.

We have the Nita after Bongabinni, which is the reservoir formation for bearing hydrocarbons. Then Goldwyer; a huge potential.

What is background gas and other types of gas while drilling are here:

Background gas: If you are drilling through a hydrocarbon-bearing formation, by definition the gas held within the rock you are drilling will come to surface along with the cuttings, and be detected by the mud-loggers. This is 'background gas'.

Drilled Gas: Gas which is produced from the volume of cuttings drilled.
Background Gas: Gas that enters the well bore while drilling.
Connection Gas: Gas that enters when the ECD is removed and the pipe moves and swabs.
Dummy Connection Gas: Gas that enters the well bore during a dummy connection.
Trip gas: gas that enters the well bore while tripping.
Flow check Gas: Gas that is allowed in during a flow check.
Total gas Ratio: The relationship between Background, Connection, Flow check or trip gas.
Re-circulated gas: Gas that was not removed from the mud system.
Swabbed Gas: Gas brought in with vertical pipe movement.
Kick gas: Gas that enters the well bore when the System is unbalanced.
