The oft used term "Self funded retiree" is, in most cases, a misnomer.
I call myself a passive productive labourer.
I am living from my superannuation savings which are invested in commerce and industry; they are producing and providing income.
And therefore, I am not retired but productive, albeit passively.
Hence the description "Passive productive labourer."
Sadly, many people seem to accept the terms and descriptions given to them by the state and its corporate and media allies without giving it any real thought.
Consequently, they allow others to do the thinking for them.
