In today's papers the Coalition say that they will not move the goalposts with respect to superannuation. I assume this will mean that they will dump the Gillard/Swan proposal to tax super funds that earn in excess of $100,000 pa ? The proposal was a really stupid one to begin with and apparently almost impossible to draft due to the numerous questions that must be answered . Apart from that it is the worst kind of economic envy to hit a group that no longer gets pay rises, and are subject to the vagaries of the stock market, the certainty of rising living costs , and last but not least ......the greed of ignorant politicians.
