I hope that this means that there will be a faster assessment time than prior to this announcement; ie I hope that there is a nexus between 1 October and 1 November. Because from what I recall (and I might be wrong) I thought that prior to this release and prior to the assessment of RAT home testing kits there was an approval process of up to approx 3 months to access “medical devices” (unlike pharmaceuticals that were accessed much faster). Much is frequently changing and it seems that TGA continue to add to their short list approved products for home use, much I suspect depends upon the expediency of the company submitting their application for approval. Here’s hoping….!
