The reality of SMSF is that one looks after ones own interests. THAT is the only reason for having a SMSF.
My gains were used as a Tax effective measure ( Company input ) up until 2002 when I sold ALL of my business interests. These of course were rolled over into our SMSF.
I have lived and travelled since, on the Profits, and I continue to do so.
My suggestion is that anyone contemplating a SMSF - GET a GOOD Accountant and do your OWN Investing, be it Share Market or Property.
