Could be relevant for concrete rail road sleepers to I imagine ,
Also where cattle (mainly dairy cows) are yarded it is necessary to ground the concrete and connect all reinforcing steel together to prevent stock getting shocked as cattle compared to humans are very sensitive to low voltage shocks
