I don't agree with your overview on how you may have portrayed this as I am one of those boomers pushing forward.

But, but ..................there are a few points looking at this broadly world wide.

Where did this virus start and who has a ageing population.

China has both the world's largest total population and elderly population. The newly released results of China's seventh population census show that China's 2020 population stood at 1.4118 billion in which there are 264 million people aged 60 and over or 191 million aged 65 and over, comprising 18.7 percent and 13.5 percent of the total population, respectively.

The world is ageing overall with modern health developing faster than possible expected.

In some regards was this virus released to curb the world ageing faster than it can cope.

There is a lot of money tied up with the boomers, just a home alone can be worth a considerable amount.

If, if.............. a lot of boomers do die from all this just think of the extra money that gets injected from sales, development and what ever goes with millions of properties changing hands.
Governments will get a big injection as well, not just here but world wide.

Is this virus a world reset for a generation to come.

Like to think of the big picture as this virus wasn't just a mistake.
