I was a SWF bear at >0.26 but I reckon its starting to enter acquisition terrritory given their brand name, decent sized 'active' user base (>100,000), overtaking big four etc.
Retail trading volumes peeked during COVID crash in (early-mid 2020) and then a second peak during Gamestop saga (early 2021). Trading volumes have well and truly normalized to pre-COVID levels i.e. low IR argument is now irrelevant. All these newcomers e.g. stake, superhero, tiger, Disallowed etc. are well and truly late to the party of becoming the 'aussie robinhood', probably spoiled the party for everyone.
Potential acquirors IMO: openmarkets group (decent synergies, being largest customer), netwealth/hub24, cashed up crypto platform (e.g. btcmarkets wanting to crossell), neobank (integrate SWF within platform)
