Yep, definitely reliability issues. You sign in on the desktop and it gives some random database error, then you sign out and in again and hope it loads. The IRESS mobile app is also useless and logs you out as soon as you switch apps back to it. (At least on Android)
There are plenty of sites to help filter stocks. What matters most IMO is cheap execution through a broker you can trust. If you trade regularly then perhaps you need better charting software from tradingview or the like.
