The person signing off on JORC resources MUST be a geologist, experienced in that form of mineral deposit & be a paid up member of a professional geological organisation, like AusIMM & a few others.
Now I don't know of many alluvial resources that are quoted as JORC compliant on the ASX at the moment, but am prepared to be corrected on that point.
