How good is the Annual report out today! One of the most comprehensive exploration and development reports I have seen from a small cap mineral sector company.

Figure 2 on page 10, is an excellent illustration highlighting the proximity of MXR's Selheim gold project in the drummond basin. It's only 15km from the 1.1m oz ( mined) Wirralie gold mine, about 75 km from the Pajingo 3.8m oz gold mine and 100km from Mt Leyshon's 4.4m oz gold mine and 125km south of Charters Towers 16.6m oz gold production. Also in the area are the Ravenswood gold mine (3.1m oz produced) and several other large gold mines. I went through the area a few years back on a Variety club bash and there was plenty of gold mines to be seen.

"The Sellheim project tenure covers 78 square kilometres
and comprises three granted mining leases enclosed within
two exploration permits, located 190 km south–southeast
of Townsville (Figure 2). A contiguous application for an
additional two exploration permits covering 108 square
kilometres extends northwards (Figure 3). The immediate
district is an active and historic alluvial gold mining
centre, called Middle Camp, dating back to 1867, and
the underlying geology is considered prospective for the
discovery of hard rock gold and copper mineralisation.
Regionally, Sellheim is in the highly fertile north Queensland gold belt which has past production plus resources of nearly 30 million ounces gold."
