Sell and buy back in the same day. Tax?

    Just a quick question on tax.
    If I brought a company a few months back and sold it today for $1 a share and made $1000 and then I brought the same value back at $1.05 in the same day, do I have to pay tax as technically I made a loss?

    Any help would be great
