This is Mr Lincoln Augustus, second third son of Mr Lionus Augustus John Paul 1 of Jamaica Esq

To those who are not sure of such matters, this means that I am second son of third wife of Mr Lionus Augustus John Paul 1 of Jamaica Esq, though that will shortly change to second second son, as the second wife Mma Mimpi has been loaned to the Whiter Cow Milk Co-operative and Rum Factory on an infinite basis till she is returned back. Mr Lionus Augustus John Paul 1 of Jamaica Esq loves his cream with his cheeses, but then again, Eastern is East and it is pretty hard to fathom his thoughts on grave matters such as these, but it has to do something with blackbirds and dentured labour..

Mr Lionus Augustus John Paul 1 of Jamaica Esq was a singularly married church going man , a teacher of sorts to the younger children in morals and ethics, if such things exist, a paragon guru of virtue, when one dark night he had a vision where an archangel in flowing white whispered the message of the Lord in his ears. And so he awoke the next morning and left the flock and trudged to the fields to cultivate the first fields of the Numba One, just as he had been told to do.

And, oh yes, he became a multi-bigamist too, because the archangel had whispered to him that it would be much more spicy, and so the fallen guru became an upright man with a purpose in life and a means to his end.

So, many thoughts have been thought about his comings and goings and the ins and outs of his life, just as many thoughts have been pondered about Metgasco.

And we cannot help but reflect that on 10 March 2009, Metgasco announced the first P1 reserves:

    ?10 March 2009
Metgasco Limited (ASX:MEL) today announced that it had received its first certification of 1P Proven gas reserves from its coal seam gas pilot wells.

Metgasco has received 1P reserve certification of 2.7 Petajoules (proven, undeveloped) within the area of its pilot wells in PEL 16?

And what is the lead pilot production well in PEL 16? Corella P11.

Holymagiman feels that this initial 2.7 PJ of P1 reserve was based on production flows from Corella P11. Now we may have to get someone real smart to interpret that for those who do not understand his enigmatic turn of words, with the provision that he is sometimes right and always wrong, but that is what he feels it is all about.

And now we note that Metgasco has announced on 28 Jan 2011 that it was about to commence drilling the first of four coal seam gas multi-lateral pilot PRODUCTION wells.

Now again we may be right or we may be wrong, but we feel that these Harrier production wells are some steps ahead of some other companies who are drilling and drilling to prove that they have coal and lots of water below.

But we stray, for we were wondering what reasons these production wells were being drilled for.

We can only guess that it is either to further delineate and increase the P1 reserves, or to prepare ourselves for gas sales, or perhaps the company is simply drilling these production wells to keep the unhappy shareholders happy to see that the company is doing something somewhere. We leave the figuring out of such intricate matters to those better versed in such matters as we are but small people who unobservedly flit in and out of the shadows behind the curtains of an overwhelmingly large stage.

We note that Mr David Johnson said on 10 March 2009 that

"Commenting on the announcement Metgasco?s managing director, Mr David Johnson, said ?We are pleased to have achieved this important milestone in establishing the first 1P Proven commercial gas reserves from the Clarence Moreton Basin. These results further highlight the underlying value of our resource acreage.?

?This development combined with our emerging conventional gas resources, following the discovery of the Kingfisher Field, demonstrates that the Clarence Moreton basin will play an important role in supplying gas to Queensland and New South Wales. Metgasco is uniquely placed to play a leading role in the development of the Clarence Moreton basin?s energy resources.?

Which brings us to the other thing that Baboo has noted, which is that the conventional gas fields are shaping up to be truly massively enormous, and he is of the opinion that because they are gas-fields, they will be full of gas and not water, because if they are filled with water then the company would call it a well rather than a field, and he feels that we have to wait and see which way the rice husks blow in the wind because he says that it is a fact that the Romans did not build a chariot in a day though the good Lord built the world in six days, but I am unable to figure all that out as it is too complex, so I guess I would leave it for the more educated of the gentlemen and ladies on this forum to work that one out and maybe try to explain things to us simple folks in plain English.
