Two other points worth mentioning. First, all the majors reported some decent sized losses for the March quarter so the problem is industry wide, not specific to NMS. We made a small loss for the first half; if we can make even a small profit for the second then we're doing relatively well.
Second point is that the first half was quite thin on contract announcements yet the company still managed a respectable $85m (from memory) revenue. But as we saw it wasn't the lack of work that was the problem but the margins. So contract announcement are not all that's needed although they do help in restoring some confidence.
