Could the recent sell down of the Goodman family holdings be due to a strategy where they think the SP is at the bottom and they want to realise a tax loss to offset against a capital gain from the sale of the family held industrial plant to GMG.
Just a thought. I don't know enough about the likley cost base of their shareholdings nor the magnitude of the property for share swap and whether a capital gain would be made on the exchange.
