dude, sorry but I really dont understand your logic or if you realy understand what you are saying. the options were trading at around 13.5c before being delisted. if you didnt exercise you loose all 13.5c. and yes there are some who dont understand will loose.
If you didnt have the money you would have needed to have sold to get your money out
buying/selling the options is over and done with.
