David, where did you get the 1-3% of profits number from for effect on carbon tax?

I am not sure what $20 per metric tonne of carbon is translated too against tonnage out of ground of coal but the main issue is that this government keeps imposing tariffs etc on mining companies out of the blue!

For foregin investors putting alot of capex on the line you would be having second thoughts especially when you can go to africa eg Mozambique at present and have governments opening there arms for investment and to unlock massive deposits of nearly every commodity on the planet - many of which come online in the next 2-3 years. Just look at iron ore venture of African Minerals in Sierre Leone - uk listed company!

I wonder what effect this will have on the Bundi JV?
