Thats exactly how big boys can earn money but retail investors have large % of losing the money. Judging a business from new articles will let you burn your money. Independent thinking is always needed when you trade stocks.
All businesses face competitions in a free market. Even in oil industry, Saudis are competing with US shale producers. I am not saying that Paypal isnt a business threat for BNPL players. However, you always need to look at other aspects of business and combine with monetary policies at the time.
When you look around and everyone is using Paypal to pay bnpl checkouts, thats when you sell the zip/apt stock.
The pie in US is simply too large for any players.
