If this is hair-splitting, then it is an enormous hair!
The real issue here is that of credibility. If somebody is posting, and their words demonstrate that they either do not understand the difference between market cap and share price, or that they do not know (or do not care) whether the price of a stock is $4 or $8, there is a problem.
Isn't it reasonable for others to take this apparent level of understanding into account, when assessing the value of future postings?
