If you take investing advice from anyone on a forum like this, you shouldn't be investing.
- Of course, and I 100% agree. And yet we still have beginner retail traders that also genuinely believe silver is going to $100USD, as advised by silver "experts/gurus". Hence why posting such financial advice is silly, because there are inexperienced people that will still believe any advice they hear. It is (obviously) morally better to not post such (false) advice, rather than risk someone taking an unnecessary loss, and then to claim "well they shouldn't have been here".
Saying it is technically correct is only trying to protect a dangerous point of view. It is definitely not technically correct, case in point with Abra. I'm sure the guys over there that lost hard earnt cash won't agree to it being "technically correct" either. I will call out any nonsense like this any day of the week if it protects the new trader.
