re: sell off taking place? gold I think until the gold price stays at this level for at least a few days and maybe a few weeks a lot of people dont see it as more than a very short term phenomenon and therefore and therefore really arent factoring it into the gold stocks.They are putting too much portent in the war premium. If they see it is for real eg only a small drop after a quick war then the stocks will sling shot. Same if the war is drawn out or war is not declared and the price keeps going up. Either wayb until the prevailing view is that the gold price rise is sustainable the stocks wont really take it up.
