You are spot on BGG, I said buying options is a mug's game..... selling on the other hand is how I make the majority of my returns. I sell at around a 0.3 delta and let the time decay do it's thing, if done conservatively the strategy works well for me.
I will sell puts if I'm happy to own the shares on assignment.
