I guess its not the most important thing (tho' it was my original note). But as I understand it, the lab accepts actual blood samples sent by the doctor for INR testing to corroborate the strip result (in cases of doubt). That doesn't mean the lab will broaden its service (as I had feared).
It does mean we can see the strips as "good" - unless there is a contradiction which might lead to trouble.
I still see the lab as a burden, not an asset.

(I am shocked at the price ( ~19c) but it makes sense, sadly, and I have to trust there is some hard thinking going on. A two person team with the right airline tickets could push the Sentia side - I would like to know how much testing is done by the usual winery).
