Q - if broker selling up stock on the security of a margin loan, would they sell:
- by placing an order like that - in a single order at market - or break it up to get the best price during the day?
if manipulation is not the logic for placing this type of order then what is the logic
i have watched trading patterns in recent weeks and have seen several instances where orders of around 500,000 shares are placed temporarily like this and pulled just before some heavy trading occurs
is this telegraphing a big buy up about to occur?
