competing against the big red and green giants i can tell you their pricing has only gotten worse in the current climate. the desperate scramble to get revenue above margin is madness...how else can you explain large contract volumes on the melb to tassie routes seeing rates being cut by 35% and perth to adelaide seeing rates being cut by 50%...just uncommercial madness.
i just dont understand what mcs are doing being not coming back to the market with any information. either their lenders are about to pull the plug on funding given material shift in exposure / profit levels, maybe the suspension has triggered a clause or they just have no idea what is going on in their business...but it defies any sort of continuous disclosure and confidence in management.
so disappointing
