I take your point, the market is certainly pricing ARI to completely fall over. But thats the fascinating part of it...they only have to survive and the share price will significantly re-rate.

I find it interesting that so many non holders are commenting here. I dont hold Atlas shares, so i dont bother contributing to any AGO threads in what is already a fairly negative situation there.

Dont forget Arrium have 3 core business segments. Most of other mid and small tier miners have little ability to stay afloat if/when they mothball any operations.

China is also playing a dangerous game here. Allegedly subsidising their miners, producing surplus steel etc. it might just end up being a short game for them!

Arrium is currently 1% of my PF, but i still own a fair few shares in them all the same. My big bets in the commodities space lately has been with BHP and some of the major energy producers. But at 14-15 cents Arrium is a bit tempting I'll admit.
