byron easy fix mate, trade with less capital, something as simple as recognizing support on a chart and then incorporating that support level with your FA work to gain some structure.

if you know your major support levels @ $1.00 and were trading at $1.05 and your FA research says its a good buy @ this price.

so now if you pull the trigger and buy @ 1.05 you understand price should not go below $1.00 and if it did you were wrong and you make that $1.00 major support zone your stop loss.

therefore before you even enter the trade you know that your only going to loose 5% before you admit your wrong.

knowing that you can now determine your risk, aka how much money your putting on the table. so if your comfortable loosing 1k or $500 then you know that you only need to through 20k or 10k respectively into this particular trade.

you also need to do the same with the upside, that way your emotions dont play with your head, and all you are is a robot, that buys and sells according to your research before making the decision.

if you pull the trigger on any other price weather its above your sell target or bellow your stop price you count it as a unsuccessful trade because you didint follow the plan.

if you follow the plan your not letting your emotions in AT ALL - this is 101 stuff and im sure u already know this
