Good stuff BlytheFan. All to often posts in HC are just opinion, or worse, inaccurate content , usually from punters who haven't the expertise to provide fact.

Thus saying that Vayama's posts are welcome as well because debate helps to bring out information to give a better idea of what we are investing in.

In respect to your posts I do agree that pre stripping costs big dollars(It cost OZL around $250mil to get to their copper/gold body after stripping 100mtrs at Prominent Hill). However costs associated with mining and crushing hard rock is significant as well. Been known to make operations unviable in fact.

Also why is oxide clays relevant? From a metallurgy point of view is it harder to separate the product from the buffer soil as opposed to rock?
