Every time the market has a correction we see posts about 87, 29 and have comments about dead cat bouces
Look my view is the economy is in pretty good shape, not great but good, the US might be slowing a bit and this bad loans thing is a worry, there are always some worry though.
the thing about our market is, and probably worldwide, is that money is going into the market all the time through super, all workers get 9% and many put in more, that's every week.
This was not the case in years gone by, not 9% anyway. so the pool is growing, there will be short term shifts but overall more money going into shares buy sheer weight of super money.
Now a lot would not go ino specs, but as banks and such get more expensive natually some flows over to small caps that some of us like.
So the all ords will at some point be 10000, and then 15000, not saying a time frame but that will happen at some point in time. Remember when it was 2000, you would say no way 6000
So relax.
