I had my order rejected today also. Seems the ASX was experiencing technical difficulties. I got a message from my broker that orders were being accepted but could not be placed into the market due to technical issues on the ASX. Think RMS may have clicked a notch or two higher had the market been fully operational. Might be a bit of a back log to clear tomorrow.
