You have every right to say as you wish as long it relates to the stock. You seem to being using a lot of words to say nothing. So actually say something and you will get an interesting conversation from the people on this thread. I am not a long term holder nor as heavily invested in UMC as most. The best investment return I have earned from UMC was from the education I received from reading the posts on this thread (doubt they realise that, but thanks forum members).

Once more understanding of IO sector is achieved it is so easy to see the difference in stocks such as UMC and FMS but also as Kurious posts alludes, the IO sector in general.

So on one hand we do have issues within the iron sector overall. This will not impact so much the RIO and BHP but may have very harsh impact on pure IO plays due to their leverage to IO price.

For this reason I would only hold UMC out of all Pilbara plays. Then there is no guarantee but if quality doesn't cut it then nothing will.
