Oyeah "on this thread I will only debate the merits or otherwise of UMC". I made that statement because some posters on the UMC thread seemed to have a fixation or obsession with FMS and continually made references to that stock. I quite properly in keeping with HotCopper posting rules was correct in asserting that the UMC thread should be about UMC not another stock.
I am more than happy to restrict my posting on UMC to relevant information about the company provided I dont have to waste time responding on this thread to discussion and barbs from posters about another stock. Can we agree on that basis then all this peripheral chatter will no longer be necessary.
UMC as an addition to the ASX300 can only be a good thing with hopefully more instos taking an interest.
