But if you look at this from a TA viewpoint, in recent days, GIP has bounced off a lower trend line and yesterday crossed the 18 day SMA. cso1 posted an excellent chart at the time.

That in itself would be a good enough reason to buy for some technical traders.

Would the bounce have happened without the news? Who knows. It's all a bit chicken and egg.

I don't feel let down. I'm happier holding my shares than I was yesterday. Well done to all at GIP for the quick work on the Eritrean samples. They get a hard time when things get delayed so I feel it's only fair to give them credit when they deliver a pleasant surprise.

Having said in early December that I fancied a fall to 6c followed by a rise to 12c, I make this a ST Buy again. Wheee!
